This program led by Emily Mayo, DC & MLS Staff
Emily Mayo, DC
Dr. Emily Mayo is a chiropractor, educator, and long-time contributor to the MLS teaching lineage. Her path into chiropractic began early, receiving care throughout her childhood and during her years as a competitive gymnast. That consistent experience of healing led her to the realization that chiropractic was her calling and that serving through touch could change lives.
While attending Life University, Emily quickly found her chiropractic family through MLS. She attended dozens of trainings, co-led MLS Club, helped facilitate advanced practice groups, and ultimately became a teaching presence in seminars across the country. That immersion shaped the clarity and consistency she now passes on to others.
Today, she runs a thriving family practice in Pacific Beach, San Diego, where she continues to teach chiropractors how to connect deeply with their bodies, their craft, and their purpose. Her gift is in helping others refine the mechanics while staying in the heart of the work. Whether she’s working with students or seasoned docs, Emily brings structure, steadiness, and a felt sense of what it means to show up well in service.
Her teaching is precise, embodied, and quietly powerful. She guides with humility and holds space for others to discover their own rhythm inside the work.
